MTR Consulting
MTR also provides consulting services, which include: Project Planning, Owner’s Representation and Construction Management. These services are offered to local clients and for clients outside of our service area. We understand the industry and know what to look for in planning a renovation. We offer different packages to homeowners. You can hire us to design your space, go over budgets and proposals, review plans / designs, represent the homeowner throughout the construction process or just to mile stones. It can be an overwhelming feeling dealing with architects, engineers, general contractors or sub contractors. We have the knowledge and experience to answer questions and negotiate with trades and look over plans to see if areas can be value engineered. Do you have a project out side of our service area and still want some help with your project? MTR offers project consulting and owner representation. What does this mean you might ask? We understand the industry and know what to look for in planning a renovation. This started because Mike was helping friends and family that lived far. They would send him plans and contracts to review, making sure they hired the right person and/or just looking over numbers to see if everthing was planned and priced correctly. He realized that some people could use some help figuring out details of there project, such as: review plans, value engineering, review contracts for homeowners “general contractor and sub contractor bids”. Give advise on projects based off experience, etc.
As of today MTR has now helps homeowners all over with there project. It’s nice to have someone on your side that understands the construction industry and knows what questions to ask and oversee the project. Here is a list of consulting packages we offer.
Project Overview: We will review architectural and structural plans and see if there are ways to save. We will also go over pricing with the client to make sure they understand what to plan for.
Contract Review: We will review the plans and the contract for the remodel. We would represent the homeowner to make sure contractors include all aspecs of the construction. We educate the homeowner so they know what questions to ask or items to remove from the contract.
Owners Representative: MTR will represent the homeowner throughout the build or remodel of the project. MTR isn’t the GC for the project but will deal with negotiating contracts and change orders. We will be involved from the beginning to the end of the project.

TV Construction Consulting: Since MTR / Mike Rose has been working in the TV film industry he has learned what production companies need to run a successful show. We help production companies outline project budgets and scope of work details. We also help manage TV projects throughout the build process.
